intrigued by two islands named after holidays: Christmas Island and Easter Island. WAS
Christmas Island by Captain William Mynors discovered while sailing aboard the Royal Mary, a British East India Company vessel. Mynors Sailed past it on Christmas Day in 1643, Henco the name. The other holiday island
is Easter Island, named by Dutch explorer Jacob Roggeveen, Who discovered it on Easter Sunday in 1722. Are Either I can not say on my bucket list. My husband, a ham radio operator (K7PVT), you've always wanted to go to this island in Oceania on a DXpedition. Closer
